Public Park
Created at the beginning of the 20th century this public garden, was inspired by 19th-century botanical gardens. In typical English style the park has an abundance of remarkable trees, flowerbeds, several water features and a bandstand. It offers an outstanding panorama of the Royal City and Saint Ours area.

Saint Louis Garden
A delightful little garden, located on the south side of Saint Ours Collegiate Church, which offers a scenic view over the Indre Valley and Beaulieu-lès-Loches. A wisteria pergola and square-shaped flowerbeds reminiscent of monastic gardens burst with vibrant colours as soon as springtime arrives.

Agnès Sorel Garden
As soon as the entrance gate to the Lansyer Museum is opened visitors will appreciate the quaint romantic garden. Planted against the ramparts the garden features perennial flowers and climbing roses, which take the visitor on a journey. It also provides a charming vista over the lower town.

Baschet Park
Before reaching the visiting areas of Loches Keep, you will stroll through an English style park laid out across the ramparts. Century-old trees offer coolness on warm days as well as peacefulness. A wonderfully soothing spot in the shadow of the 36-metre-high main tower.

Promenade de la Nouvelle Alliance Saint-Andrew
Take the flight of steps down to the banks of the Indre from the bridge linking the town centre to the train station and enjoy a delightful stroll along the waterside. Discover amazing views over the historic heart of Loches as you wander along these willow-lined banks.

Loches Keep's Medieval Garden
The 700 m2 of medieval gardens are protected by the keep and the ramparts. A first garden, featuring a mulberry tree at its centre, is set off with benches covered by a pergola of vines and hops. The second section boasts eight square beds filled with medicinal plants and ancient varieties of vegetables surrounded by fruit trees trellised along the walls.

Prairies du Roy
The meadows between Loches and Beaulieu-lès-Loches are ideal for a delightful bucolic stroll. Spanning 350 hectares this Environmentally Sensitive Area features interpretation panels on the flora and fauna.
