6. Chaumussay
This pretty village, set between the winding banks of the Claise River, is an excellent place to unwind. Enjoy the gentle ripples of the weir and Saint-Marc fountain. The Romanesque church has a perfectly preserved apse. There is also a beautiful picnic area, which is partly covered and offers a refreshing stopover on the river bank.

7. Boussay
Nestled in a beautiful wooded valley, Boussay is an artist’s dream. Its church, château and pretty houses adorned with roses and Virginia creeper make it a peaceful picture-postcard village, ideal for a bucolic stroll that will delight amateur photographers. The 2km artistic trail "In the footsteps of the painter jean Dufy" features 8 panels reproducing works by the painter. From june to September, the "Halle Café" in the perfect place for a tasty break.

8. Preuilly-sur-Claise
A village steeped in history, which still retains a medieval feel and where the elegant silhouette of the Saint-Pierre abbey church with its glazed tile roof can be admired. Numerous listed buildings bear witness to the remarkable heritage of this village.
